As part of the ACTIVE project, the Jozef Stefan Institute has created Contextify, an Outlook add-in whose goal is to make you more efficient when handling emails, by displaying the contexts of those emails.

Contextify displays an additional sidebar in Outlook, showing information related to the sender of the selected email.  Besides basic information about the sender, this includes recent email conversations with the individual, exchanged attachments and links, and information about other related people.

The user can also see information displayed visually.  Contextify is able to display a graph of the social network related to a particular email, besides a graph of email activity over time.
