EU “ACTIVE” Project LICENCE FOR NON-COMMERCIAL  USE

This Licence governs use of the Software entitled AKWS , in object code, and any associated materials, text or speech files, associated media and “online” or electronic documentation and any updates that may be provided.  Your use of the Software constitutes acceptance of this Licence.  If you do not accept all the terms of this Licence, you may not use the Software.

SCOPE OF RIGHTS:

You may use this Software for any non-commercial purpose, subject to the restrictions in this Licence. Some purposes which can be non-commercial are teaching, academic research, and personal experimentation. You may also distribute this Software with books or other teaching materials, or publish the Software on websites, that are intended to teach the use of the Software for non-commercial purposes. You cannot create any derivative works in any form whether for non-commercial or commercial or any other purposes.. 

 

In return, you agree:

  • Not to remove any copyright or other notices from the Software.
  • That if any of the Software is in binary format, you will not attempt to modify such portions of the Software, or to reverse engineer or decompile them, except and only to the extent authorized by applicable law.
  • That if you distribute the Software in object form, you will include a verbatim copy of this Licence.
  • That any feedback about the Software provided by you to the Licensor is voluntarily given, and the Licensor shall be free to use the feedback as it sees fit without obligation or restriction of any kind, even if the feedback is designated by you as confidential.

  • That the owners of the copyright and other rights in the Software reserve all rights not expressly granted to you in this Licence.
  • That, except to the extent that local laws necessarily apply, this licence shall be governed and construed in all respects in accordance with the laws of Belgium.
