BT user trials under way

The BT ACTIVE user trials are now under way.  The ACTIVE Knowledge WorkSpace (AKWS) has been rolled out to the first few triallists in BT Business who are already providing valuable feedback.  The trial will be extended to around 20 further BT Business users during January and February. These initial user trials will then be followed by more extensive trials later in 2010. BT Business provides communications products and services to a wide range of organisations in the U.K. and the goal is to use the AKWS to help users share knowledge better, in particular when preparing customer proposals.  A white paper, Knowledge Management at the Customer Front-Line, describes how the case study is providing technology to help knowledge workers at the customer front-line be more effective, and how the technology is being trialled in the demanding world of sales and technical support in the telecommunications industry.
