ACTIVE will set a Learning Community (LC) as a background for unconditional knowledge transfer inside the ACTIVE community and from the ACTIVE community to external parties. The LC is part of workpackage 12 and will be setup at M12.

It will integrate:

• -Learning, teaching, exploring and assessment, as well as maintenance of professional communities;
• -The creation of high quality training content and self-learning modules;
• -The organisation of training events like workshops and summer schools;
• The creation/deployment of a suitable ICT infrastructure to support web based training, virtual community functions;
• And training content preparation.
