WP3, Pro-active Knowledge Processes Support

WP3 aims to provide users with tools and mechanisms to improve their daily knowledge work. Knowledge processes are instantiated using user context (form WP2) and other knowledge structure (from WP1). Using this kind of information supports dynamic aspects for executing knowledge processes which could be in a pro-active manner. This workpackage covers also aspects of filtering of information and security aspects during execution.
Thus, the objectives of this workpackage are:

• Filtering of relevant knowledge
• Support for dynamic context-aware adaptation of the Knowledge Workspaces
• Provide frameworks to pro-actively adapt Knowledge Processes using patterns from mining
• Provide methods to optimize Knowledge Processes and provide mechanisms to increase their dynamicity and flexibility
• Provide mechanisms and tools to monitor Knowledge Processes and use this information for mining and reasoning
• Provide mechanisms for secure Knowledge Processes

Tools and frameworks will be typically implemented as web-service-type APIs.
