WP11, Exploitation and Dissemination

WP11 comprises the following objectives:

• To ensure the full exploitation of the ACTIVE technology developed in the project, for the benefit of the partners and the European ICT industry. This will include proper IPR mechanisms to ensure that intellectual property created by the project is appropriately protected and exploited
• To create shared resources which can be used by project partners in their exploitation activities. This will include market and competitor analysis studies
• To disseminate project knowledge, project results, lessons learned and best practices in order to create an impact with European industry and research. Dissemination will be targeted, e.g. towards: researchers, information technology professionals, general decision makers in industry. Industry and sector-related events will be used to reach key components of this audience
• We will seek visible presence and representation at key external events (e.g. seminars, workshops, showrooms and exhibitions) frequented by significant numbers of target individuals /organisations. In addition, we aim to organize ACTIVE specific events, targeted at selected audiences. In this area, ACTIVE is proposing two types of events, the “Active IT!” focused on commercial demonstration and exploitation potential, and the “ACTIVE Knowledge Space Days”, organized as hands-on and workshops for Web 2.0 and Semantic application developers interested in our solution
• To create material, e.g. brochures and white papers, to support all partners in their dissemination activities
